Before entering the physical therapy field, Gerardo played baseball at Coral Gables Senior High School and St. Johns River State College. His dedication to the sport earned him selection by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2019 MLB Draft. His athletic background gives him a unique understanding of injury recovery and motivates him to help patients achieve their goals and return to an active lifestyle.
