Dr. Rivera is a Board-Certified Physical Therapist who earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2011. With 15 years of hands-on clinical experience, she provides comprehensive, evidence-based care across the lifespan.
Her clinical expertise includes orthopedics, neurological rehabilitation, pediatrics, post-surgical recovery, and sports-related injuries. She spent eight years practicing in a pediatric specialty hospital, where she developed advanced skills in treating medically complex cases while partnering closely with families to support meaningful, functional outcomes.
Dr. Rivera prioritizes patient and family education as a cornerstone of care. She believes that empowering patients and their families to be active participants in the rehabilitation process leads to greater confidence, stronger outcomes, and long-term success.
In addition to her clinical work, she is an APTA Certified Clinical Instructor, mentoring future physical therapists and contributing to the advancement of professional practice.
